Attorney Gary Russo

Attorney Gary Alex Russo clerked and then worked as an associate for the law firm of Slawson, Burman and Critton for twelve years. While working at that firm, Mr. Russo worked on high profile bad faith insurance claims, personal injury claims and complex construction defect cases. In 1994 he opened his own office, The Russo Law Firm. Mr. Russo made the decision to start his own law firm because he strongly believed that it is an attorney’s duty to protect those who are in need. He believes that people should come before the dollar and that serving his community is the greatest reward. For the past 18 years, Mr. Russo and those at The Russo Law Firm take pride in the success achieved through their diligence and hard work. Mr. Russo prides his firm’s success on results and client relations, leaving advertising on television, radio, buses, taxis and billboards to “other” attorneys.

Over the past 35 years, Mr. Russo has been involved with settlement claims, trials and litigation of cases from the smallest pro bono cases to cases involving multi-million dollar awards. He is a nationally board certified trial attorney and is or has been a member of the Palm Beach County Trial Lawyers, The American Bar Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers. He takes pride in providing a family oriented office for clients and his staff. His goal is to provide a caring environment for those being challenged with legal difficulties that need aggressive yet compassionate assistance.

Attorney Gary Russo met his wife Cathy when he moved down from New Jersey when he was 13 years old and they have been married for over 30 years. Mr. Russo has been blessed with three loving children. Mr. Russo and his wife both attended and received an undergraduate degree at The University of Florida. Cathy became an elementary school teacher while Mr. Russo went on to attend and graduate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. His son, Nick, has also graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of law and presently works with his father at The Russo Law Firm. Mr. Russo’s daughter Ashley graduated from the University of Florida with her architectural degree and is currently working for a nonprofit organization to design homes and orphanages for those in need. Ashley is currently on mission in Cambodia with her family spreading the Gospel. His youngest daughter, Dilynn, has graduated the University of Florida and is now an attorney at the family firm providing legal representation in the area of adoption, child abuse and injury law.

Mr. Russo is an active member of Family Church located in Palm Beach Gardens. Many there know him as Mr. Donuts as Mr. Russo is an active participant in the children's ministry at Family Church.
